A new multi-channel strategy for Pret A Manger

British brand Pret A Manger is launching its first grocery line in Tesco. Starting on March 15, frozen croissants to be baked home will be available at 700 Tesco units across the UK. The croissant will be available in three flavours: butter, chocolate filling or vegan. 

 

The move comes as a part of the brand new strategy to expand into the consumer packed goods segment (in addition to the already available Pret A Manger coffee-at-home range). Due to Covid lockdowns, the brand has experienced significant economic difficulties resulting into the decision to evaluate and move towards a multi-channel strategy to attract more consumers.
