Dessert parlour brand Creams is set to launch internationally for the first time after agreeing a master franchise partnership covering Greece and Cyprus. The company has partnered with Intercopper Co, a hospitality group with experience operating several successful sports bar concepts across the region.
Creams plans to open its first overseas location in Athens before the end of the year, with the search for a suitable site already in progress. The brand then aims to roll out a further nine stores across Greece and Cyprus by 2030. The company believes the region offers strong growth potential, citing the Mediterranean climate and high levels of tourist traffic as key factors behind the expansion strategy.
Creams chief executive Everett Fieldgate said: “International expansion has always been the ambition for us at Creams, and we are thrilled to have reached this milestone in our journey. Greece and Cyprus are an immensely exciting market to enter, and one that suits our product offering and brand exceptionally well, and we are excited to open our first international store at the end of this year.”
Franchise partner Frangiskos Hadjihannas added: “I’m excited to open the first international Creams and become part of the family. Creams has a very strong brand and a unique product offering that will be a good fit for this market, and I’m confident the people of Greece and Cyprus, whether tourists or locals, will be delighted to enjoy what Creams has to offer.”
