Robert Cresanti to retire from the IFA

Robert Cresanti, current president and CEO of the Internationall Franchise association (IFA), will retire at the end of his contract on March 31, 2021.

Mr. Cresanti has been with the IFA since 2014; during his tenure, the association attained important achievements such as “ensuring franchises were maximally eligible for financial relief in the CARES Act and reversing the harmful joint employer rule and enacting tax reform” – in the words of Mr Cresanti.

Upon his departure, the IFA won’t immediately recruit a new CEO; instead, key members of the executive board will lead the association until further notice.
