McDonald’s are set to launch CosMc’s, a new restaurant concept that would compete in the hot and cold drink market.
The new brand will debut in Illinois, before the the end of 2023. There is an aim to have 10 sites open before the start of 2025.
Opening in Bolingbrook, near Chicago, the CosMc’s is set to compete with brands such as Tim Hortons and Starbucks.
The new brand is set to offer different products and target a different market segment to McCafe.
In addition to the new CosMc’s news, the US company has announced plans to open around 10,000 McDonald’s sites by 2027.
