KFC open multiple new stores in South Africa

TradeOn, a KFC franchisee in South Africa, have opened a new store in Vredenburg. Located in Weskus Mall, the new store opened at the start of November.

 

KFC South Africa, on LinkedIn, have shared news of multiple other new stores, including Engen Inada (Durban), Riverside Mall (Parys, Free State), Eaton Lakeside (Johannesburg) and Springs Mall (Springs).

 

KFC are part of Yum! Brands, who also own the brands Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill.

 

KFC South Africa is one of 22 markets in sub-Saharan Africa, that consist of KFC Africa.

 

One of the major franchisees for KFC Africa is Devyani International Limited.

 

Outside of Africa, a growing market for KFC is Easter Europe – KFC Bosnia and Herzegovina opened the largest drive-thru in South-East Europe back in December 2022.
