Carl’s Jr. – the leading American burger chain – is planning to enter the UK market soon and is currently looking at the best location for its first English unit.
The plan follows other companies’ similar decision in the recent months – among many: Wendy’s, Five Guys and Popeyes have recently landed in the UK.
Europe and Russia general manager Tim Lowther says the brand is not planning to go small – in his own words: “Opening one or two restaurants is not a successful launch for us. The market has room for a significant numbers of the brands”. Carl’s Jr. is currently looking for a master franchisee to partner with and it is considering several options for potential locations – Central London for sure, but also other sites which could be suitable for a sustainable long term growth.
