Big Chicken sign new franchise agreement

The chicken shop concept, Big Chicken, has agreed terms with a new franchise partner, growing the brand into Pennsylvania.

New franchisee, Memo II, who already operate Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts stores, have already set out plans to open their first Big Chicken store in Tannersville.

Big Chicken was founded by Shaquille O’Neal, the former basketball player in the NBA. The first store opened in Las Vegas, in 2018, and has grown to 18 sites across the USA – this includes a presence in sports arenas, airports and on cruise ships.

In 2022 the brand agreed terms with DMD Ventures to be a franchising partner – this included plans to open 45 stores, with expectations that these will be in cities including Tampa Bay, Orlando and Miami.
