YO! set to debut in Spain

Following the F&B operator, SSP Group, winning new contracts in Spain, it has been announced that YO! are set to debut in the Western European country.

 

SSP Group have been awarded contracts to operate 11 F&B units across 3 airports in Spain. Within the 11 sites, 2 international brands are set to open – YO! Sushi at Barcelona airport and Popeyes at Palma de Mallorca. The two new stores will be milestones for the brands – the first YO! in Spain and the first Popeyes at a Spanish airport.

 

At Barcelona airport, last week, Pret A Manger opened their first Spanish based store.

 

In March 2021, YO! appointed a new CFO – Xenia Walters. In the summer of 2023, Zensho, the Japanese restaurant group, acquired the then owners of YO!, The Snowfox Group, for £494m (US$621m).

 

Earlier this month, Popeyes opened their first store in the Czech Republic.
