Tim Hortons to expand across UK’s travel network

Restaurant Brands International, as of 1st March 2023, have a new CEO – Joshua Kobza. The holding company of Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons, have promoted Kobza who was the exisiting Chief Operating Officer, replacing José Cil, will will continue in an advisory position for 12 months.

 

The holding company will see Tim Hortons, the Canadian QSR brand, look to expand across the UK through new approaches, including a transport network strategy. By targeting Motorway service stations, rail and airport locations, Tim Hortons Chief Commercial Officer, Kevin Hydes, has highlighted an ambition to open 25-30 new store locations this year.

 

The brand has 72 sites across the UK, with over 50 drive-thru restaurants. Tim Hortons have more than 4,700 stores globally.
