TGI Fridays open new store in Sweden

TGI Fridays have opened their newest store in Sweden. Located in Uppsala, the store is the fifth street-side location in the country.

Uppsala, located north of Stockholm, has a population of between 150-200k people. The new store is located at Dragarbrunnsgatan 41a, 753 20 Uppsala.

The restaurant, operated by American Bistro Sweden, opened on Thursday 10th August.

Last month, TGI Fridays opened a new store in Doha, whilst in June, TGI Fridays partnered with Siwar Foods, agreeing to the exclusive distribution rights of the TGI retail products across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Last year, we shared news regarding the Scandinavian company, Waynes, developing across the region.

TGI Fridays are continuing to develop, across multiple regions, through franchising; Learn more about franchise opportunities with TGI Fridays.
