SSP Group planning debut Pret store in Saudi Arabia

Pret A Manger is set to open their first Saudi Arabia store, operated by SSP Group, in King Abdulaziz International Airport.

The airport, located in Jeddah, will be home to the debut store in the brand’s fourth Middle Eastern country (after UAE, Qatar and Kuwait).

The new store is set to open in November 2024.

We shared news, earlier this year, that SSP Group had won a contract with Egyptian Airports Company. In January 2024, SSP Group debuted Jones the Grocer in Singapore. In June 2023, LEON partnered with SSP Group in order to enter the Italian market.

Pret A Manger signed a Canadian development plan in June 2024 and Emirates Leisure Retail, the UAE based franchise partner for Pret A Manger opened stores across the Dubai International Financial District back in July 2023.
