A second pay rise for Pret A Manger UK staff

Coffee brand Pret A Manger is raising for the second time the staff salary by investing an additional £10m. Effective December first, all employees will receive a 5% pay increase which will bring the total increment for the year to 13% corresponding to an investment of £20m.

 

In the words of the company interim managing director Guy Meakin “With the rising cost of living putting increased pressure on our people, we wanted to do more to support them, and to say thank you for continuing to go above and beyond for our customers.” On average, staff is expected to have an annual increase between £900 and £1000 depending on the role.
