Back in January 2024, Pret A Manger opened their first standalone store in Canada. The British brand have traded in the North American country since the summer of 2022, operating within A&W Restaurants in Toronto and Vancouver. However, the new store, located on Adelaide St. W, within Toronto’s Financial District, was a big step in brand development and expansion for Pret A Manger.
The new announcement, relating to Pret A Manger in Canada, is that the brand is has agreed a 10-year development plan with the Canadian operator. There is also a plan to rollout Pret A Manger coffee in all Canadian A&W Restaurants in H2 of 2024, in addition to the introduction of more Pret stores over the next decade.
Back in February, Pret A Manger and Millat Group have partnered with a development agreement which will see the British based Food to Go and Cafe brand open in South Africa.
Pret A Manger entered the island of Ireland 18 months ago and the announced plans to debut in Northern Ireland.
The brand debuted also opened their first stores Luxembourg, India and Spain, last year, with Kuwait’s debut in 2022 Q4.
