Pret A Manger have opened their first standalone store in Canada. The British brand have traded in the North American country since the summer of 2022, operating within A&W Restaurants in Toronto and Vancouver. However, the new store, located on Adelaide St. W, within Toronto’s Financial District, is a big step in brand development and expansion for Pret A Manger.
Operated by A&W Food Services of Canada Inc., Pret A Manger will be managed in Canada by an experienced F&B organisation – they currently operate the A&W franchise in Canada.
Pret A Manger was founded in 1986 and there are now over 470 stores in the UK, with over 220 sites internationally.
Pret A Manger entered the island of Ireland 18 months ago and the announced plans to debut in Northern Ireland.
The brand debuted also opened their first stores Luxembourg, India and Spain, last year, with Kuwait’s debut in 2022 Q4.
