Ole & Steen, the Danish bakery and cafe brand, have appointed Graham Hollinshead as the company’s new UK Managing Director.
Hollinshead has significant experience in the hospitality industry – over 5.5 years as a director at Wagamamas and more recently as Operations Director at Caravan Restaurants.
This news was then followed by the news that the Group CEO, Jason Cotta, has stepped down and left the business. Departing on mutual terms and as a joint agreement, Cotta leaves after over 4 years at Ole & Steen – joining the bakery & cafe brand from Costa Coffee.
At present, Jesper Mark Dixen, the group’s Chief Commercial Officer is acting as Interim Group CEO.
Under the name Lagkagehuset, Ole & Steen operate over 100 stores in Denmark. The brand also own stores in the UK (26) and US (5 – all in New York).
