Across the state of Texas, a number of brands are seeing new store openings and further store development.
Velvet Taco
In the city of Waco, Velvet Taco have opened their 41st store. The newest store is located on 1021 S Jack Kultgen Expy, Waco. The Taco brand is opening stores in quick succession – we shared that they had opened their 39th restaurant in early May.
Backed by Private Equity firm Leonard Green & Partners, the brand has grown over the past 12 years, to now aiming at international expansion.
Coffee Fellows
The German brand, Coffee Fellows, has opened their first US based store, a drive-thru site in Houston.
The brand is prioritising US growth in Texas, with 3 more openings panned this year.
The brand has 220 stores in Germany, whilst their international presence includes Austria, Spain, Switzerland and Mongolia.
Shake Shack
The restaurant brand, Shake Shack, have opened a new store on 2515 Town Center Blvd N., Sugar Land, Texas. The American fast casual restaurant, that started in New York, now has a presence in The UK, China, Thailand and Mexico.
The new restaurant, in Texas, is the first of the 21 stores across the state to feature a drive-through.
