Loungers planning new Cosy Club restaurant in Oxford

A new Cosy Club restaurant, the brand operated by Loungers, is being prepared and developed in Oxford. The new restaurant will be based at the Cheng Yu Tung building, part of Jesus College.

Loungers was founded in 2002, and in Spring 2019 was listed on the London Stock Exchange. Cosy Club was developed in September 2010 and is placed as a more formal bar/restaurant offering versus the company’s ‘lounges’ units. There are 35 Cosy Clubs across the UK.

Loungers have recently opened a new brand – Brightside. This is a new ‘roadside’ offering that launched at the start of 2023. The brand is taking inspirations from Little Chef and Happy Eater. The first restaurant opened on the A38 northbound between Exeter and Plymouth, in February.
