KFC China open 10,000th store

Yum China have announced they have opened their 10,000th KFC restaurant.

 

Yum China, who also own the brands Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Little Sheep and Lavazza in China, have been operating KFC for 36 years.

 

The newest store is located in Hangzhou, next to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

 

KFC China believe they are currently serving 1/3 of the countries population and have ambitions to reach half in the next 3 years.

 

Yum China reached 10,000 stores in July 2020. Yum China Holdings, the owner of KFC and Pizza Hut in China, have re-confirmed their aims of opening 1,300 stores across 2023.
