Domino’s Pizza UK is reporting a profit of more than £101m for the year to 27 December, up from £98.8m from the previous year. The profit increase is mostly resulting from higher sales for £1.35bn, 10.3% vs. prior year on a same-store-sales basis.
The pandemic and related confinement have boosted delivery and take out sales, together with the brand new platform which allows customers to place their orders and have them delivered at their doorsteps.
Domino’s Pizza plans to open an extra 200 units – mostly run by franchisees. It also planning to add drive-thru services at 450 outlets by June.
