Coffee#1 is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary on 30 April 2026, marking a significant milestone in its growth across the UK. Founded in 2001, the company opened its first café on Wood Street in Cardiff. Since then, it has grown steadily, now operating more than 132 locations across Southern England, Wales, and the Midlands.
To commemorate the occasion, Coffee#1 will run a exclusive in-store promotion on 30 April, offering customers a free slice of cake with any drink purchase. A special limited edition drink, the “Birthday Fudge Mocha,” will also be introduced for the celebration. As part of the anniversary campaign, the company has launched a birthday themed game on its mobile app, giving users the chance to win prizes such as free coffee vouchers and loyalty stamps. The app currently has over 600,000 active users.
Since launch, Coffee#1 has maintained a steady pace of expansion, opening an average of more than five stores each year. Recent openings include locations in Dunstable, West Byfleet, and Oxford. Looking ahead, the company plans to continue expanding, with further openings expected in the next financial year and beyond.
