Capriotti’s planning India and Philippines entry

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, founded in 1976, has signed franchise agreements that will see the brand enter India and The Philipines.

In November 2022, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop and Wing Zone, the Chicken Wings Franchise (both backed by the same corporate leadership team) agreed a 50-unit development plan with Village Food Courts, expanding the brands into India.

Village Food Courts has the exclusive rights within the regions over the next 5 years – the brands will see openings across the exclusively open food court venues and other delivery kitchens.

In a similar style, Capriotti’s and Wing Zone announced a Master Franchise agreement with the restaurant operator VIVA International Food & Restaurants. The plan, located across The Philippines, also covers 50 sites over 5 years.
