The Bertrand Group has signed a Master Franchise Agreement for Itsu for France

The Bertrand Group has signed a master franchise agreement for the Asian-themed brand Itsu for the French market with the objective of opening at least 50 new units in the next five years. 

 

Itsu already operates 70+ restaurants in Great Britain and it is well known by its customers for its “healthy dishes” such as sushi, salads but also soups and noodles. The brand is now interested in expanding in France and has chosen the Bertrand Group to enter the market. The Group – which was originally founded by Olivier Bertrand in 1997 – is now the 2nd largest restaurant player in France with more than 1000 units across the country. It operates several different brands, from fast food (Burger King) to commercial restaurants (Parisian brasseries), luxury (Angelina) and others such as Hippopotamus, Léon and Au Bureau.
