Starbuck’s UK franchisee secures funding to boost development

Starbucks’ UK biggest franchisee – 23.5 Degrees – has raised £17m extra funds which will be used to open more cafes in the UK – seven new units are planned by the end of summer and an extra 300 stores by 2027.

 

23.5 Degrees – whose name relates to the fact that 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator is the world’s main coffee growing area – has been key to  Starbucks’ UK growth since its first opening in 2013. The company has recently switched to a Drive Thru strategy  with successful results.
