Velvet Taco open new store in Texas

The taco restaurant brand, Velvet Taco, have opened a new store in Frisco. Frisco is a city in Texas and part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and the new store is based near Lake Lewisville.

 

The new store is the brand’s 39th – the majority of these are Texas (specifically, Dallas-Forth Worth) based.

 

Backed by Private Equity firm Leonard Green & Partners, the brand has grown over the past 12 years, to now aiming at international expansion.

 

Last week, Velvet Taco also announced its partnered with Choctaw Casino, with the brand set to open their first casino based restaurant.
