Valora to enter the fast casual dine-in German market

Valora is entering the German fast-casual market by acquiring Frittenwerk – a well-know brand in Germany operating in the quick service restaurant sector.

With this move, Valora is focusing on its multi-format strategy and expanding into the dining-in self-service segment on top of takeaway. The catering market represents  a good investment opportunity for the German market and it sits between quick-service and fully service restaurants. Frittenwerk is well established and it has been able to stay profitable even during the pandemic period.

The deal is to take place on July 2022 and despite keeping private the financial details of the transaction, Valora is expecting EBITDA to triple by 2025.
