Tim Hortons sign franchise agreement that sees brand enter South Korea

Tim Hortons have announced that an agreement has been reached with BKR Co. Ltd, that will see the brand enter South Korea for the first time.

 

RBI, who have had a new CEO start within the past two month, are expecting the first store to open in South Korea, this calendar year.

 

The new Tim Hortons franchise parter, BKR, already operate the Burger King brand in the country (Burger King and Tim Hortons both being part of the Restaurant Brands International (RBI) umbrella). They operate 480 Burger King sites across the country.

 

Recent RBI franchise agreements include the Burger King deals covering Poland and Romania.

 

Recent South Korea F&B industry news includes the opening of multiple Délifrance sites.
