Subway sign brand’s largest ever franchise agreement

Subway have signed a master franchise agreement with Shanghai Fu-Rui-Shi Corporate Development. This agreement is the largest in Subway’s history, with a development plan of 4,000 store openings over a 20 year period.

The privately owned company, Subway, have signed 13 new master franchise agreements over the past two years, which have contributed to the 44,000 global stores.

Shanghai Fu-Rui-Shi Corporate Development is backed by a consortium that include investors such as Asia Investment Capital.

This newest development builds on the news we shared in November 2022, where Subway were expanding across Asia, after franchise agreements in Thailand and Malaysia.
