Popeyes, the fried chicken restaurant brand, have been continuing their development across the UK.
In Lewisham, London, Popeyes opened a new store in early December. With an opening on Friday 7th December, the store is located in the East Mall of Lewisham Shopping Centre. It is the third new store opening within the shopping centre this year – Gootopia and Pandora previously opened there.
Hammersmith’s Broadway Shopping Centre will be one of the next Popeyes store openings. Located opposite the Dunkin’ Donuts (who opened their store on the 15th October 2023), there are other F&B brands within the shopping centre – these include Wasabi, Paul Bakery, Krispy Kreme, Leon and Greggs.
There has also been developments in Scotland – there are plans to open a new store on Union Street, in Aberdeen. There is also development plans for a drive-thru restaurant in Aberdeen, as well.
In April, last year, we shared news about Popeyes opening 3 stores in London in quick succession and in August that the brand had successfully attained investment in order to drive further development of the brand.
