Pieminister have announced they have a new franchise partner.
The new franchisee, Black 29 Holdings, currently operate in the hospitality, healthcare and leisure industries, in West Lancashire. The new agreement will allow Pieminister to expand further. The brand currently has 15 sites across cities including Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester.
The majority of Pieminister stores are company owned, however 2 of the stores that opened earlier this year (in Derby and Bath) were franchise operated.
The brand was founded in 2003, in Bristol (UK), and in addition to their restaurants, they have grown the brand with a stall in London’s Borough Market and a pop-up at Glastonbury Music Festival.
Pieminister, in addition to their restaurants, sell their products through retail partners (e.g. Tesco & Sainsbury’s), provide a delivery service to customer’s houses and also partner with pubs that serve their pies.
