McWin become new master franchise partner for Subway

Subway have continued their European growth with a new franchise agreement. The new partner, McWin, have agreed the rights to grow the brand across Belgium, the Czech Republic, France and Luxembourg.

McWin are committed to and expected to open 600 new restaurants across their geographic footprint. The agreement will see McWin also assume responsibility for nearly 400 existing restaurants in the regions.

In February 2024, McWin Capital Partners have acquired a majority share in Sticks’n’Sushi. This followed news, in Q4 2023, of Big Mamma selling a major stake to McWin.

McWin already owns the rights to Burger King and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.
