In the last two weeks of 2022, McDonald’s Portugal opened their 193rd, 194th and 195th stores in the country.
The first of these stores to open was on 22nd December, in Estoril, in the municipality of Cascais. The new, modern decor is the first of its kind in Portugal. This was followed by a store in Vila Verde, in the north of Portugal. This is the first McDonald’s in the city and is being operated by a new franchisee to the brand. The newest restaurant, which is located along a major road that connects Porto de Mós and Batalha, is the 195th, and most recent, opening. It is being operated by an existing franchisee with two other restaurants in Portugal.
