Fridays testing “grab and go” in 2022

Hostmore is to try a “grab and go” concept in Scotland for its brand Fridays in early 2022.  The company announced it signed an agreement with a motorway services operator (not yet disclosed) to expand Fridays offer through drive-up QSR format with clic-and-collect and delivery option.
Robert B Cook, Hostmore chief executive, said “This is an area we are looking to go at hard as there is a lot of white space out there for Fridays – we only have a 34% market penetration rate currently”.
Hostmore is also looking at expanding its other brand – 63rd+1st –  to between 21 and 25 sites.
