Fazoli’s to enter Canada with new franchise partner

Fazoli’s is set to enter the Canadian market, after signing a new franchise agreement.

 

The Italian brand have partnered with Briwin Restaurants Inc. and are set to open 25 restaurants in Canada – with Alberta set to be the province of the debut store.

 

The brand currently have over 200 restaurants in over 25 states, across the US. The brand also has the aim of entering Puerto Rico.

 

Fazoli’s was founded in 1988 and is owned by FAT Brands.

 

Pret A Manger opened their first standalone store in Canada, in January 2024.

 

Paris Baguette opened their first Canadian store, with the store located in Toronto, last year.

 

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, the US-based quick-service restaurant, signed a master franchise agreement, enabling the company to enter the Canadian market, in December 2022.
