EG Group acquires more KFC restaurants in the UK

The billionaire Issa brothers have recently acquired 50+ KFC sites in the UK from the Amsric group. The  move follows the acquisition of the biggest KFC franchise in the UK and Ireland from the Herbert Group in March 2020.
Thanks to this recent purchase, the EG Group has become the biggest franchise in Western Europe for the KFC brand with 220 KFC units and 1,600 team members.
The move has been welcome by all parties and it is part of EG strategy to further consolidate its presence in the foodservice business.
