Costa Coffee set to open first store in Azerbaijan

Costa Coffee, the UK coffee chain brand, is set to see their first store open in Azerbaijan, in the Globus Centre shopping mall in Baku.

Last year, in November 2022, Costa Coffee signed a franchise agreement with ISR Holding, an investment management firm based in Azerbaijan. The agreement consisted of a development plan that targets opening 30 stores across Azerbaijan over five years. These are to include stores in other shopping malls, including those at Port Baku, Deniz, Nargiz and Najlik.

Following the opening at the Globus Centre, ISR also plans to open Costa Coffee stores at the Port Baku Mall, Deniz Mall, Nargiz Mall and Najlik Mall shopping centres.

In February 2023, Costa Coffee signed a franchise agreement in the Polish and Latvian market.
