Costa Coffee open first store within Morocco’s railway network

Costa Coffee have opened a new store in Morocco. Operated by the coffee brand’s franchise partner, Goldex Morocco, the new store is the first Costa Coffee store located within the country’s railway network.

 

The new store is based in the Casa-Voyageurs Railway Station, with the franchisee aiming to open at Rabat Adgal Train Station, in Rabat, in December 2023 and in the Tanger-Ville Railway Terminal, in Tangiers, in Q1 2024.

 

Goldex Morocco are aiming to have at least 30 stores within the next 5 years.

 

Goldex Morocco opened their first Costa Coffee in Morocco in November 2022, in Marrakesh, with the second store opened in Casablanca.

 

Goldex Morocco are part of Goldex Investments, that own the franchise rights to Costa Coffee in southern regions of the UK, as well as operating UK stores for the brand Kaspa’s.

 

In July 2023, Costa Coffee opened a new store in Tashkent, the brand’s debut in Uzbekistan.
