Clean Kitchen Club: new stores and looking to retail

Clean Kitchen Club started in London, in 2020, during the Covid19 lockdown. Co-founders Mikey Pearce and Verity Bowditch have recently opened a new store, in the new Battersea Power Station development, growing their plant based food brand to five stores – the other stores are in Camden, Notting Hill, Soho, and Wembley.

Offering Smoothies, Açaí Bowls, Burgers, Sandwiches, and Sides, the company prides themselves on their 100% plant-based products, packaged and sold in an environmentally friendly style.

Earlier this year, the company raised over £2m in seed funding and are using this for new store development and expansion into the retail sector.

Clean Kitchen Club have recently agreed terms with consultant The Point.1888, who specialise in helping brands extend into retail.

Clean Kitchen Club are just one of the many vegan restaurants that have appeared in the UK market over the past couple of years. Deliveroo stated that the number of vegan restaurants doubled, on their platform, between 2020 and 2021.
