Beyond meat plant-based burgers increase at Walmart stores

 

Beyond Meat has announced it is tripling its plant-based burgers distribution with Walmart from 800 to 2,400 stores.

 

The move is the result of the recent 25% demand increase of plant-based products following consumers’ shift toward healthier products as well as the spike in beef prices during the covid crisis.

 

Walmart distributes the Beyond Burger patties (made from peas, mug bean and rice) as well as other products such as Beyond plant-based sausages and sausages patties.
