AmRest announce 2022 results – 109 new restaurants and EBITDA growth

AmRest, the restaurant operator for brands including KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks, across countries including China, UAE, Spain, Germany, and Poland, announced that they finished the 2022 financial year with an increase in sales of over 25% (vs. 2021). Their end of year report was released on 28th February, 2023.

 

The group announced that, across the year, they opened a gross total of 109 new restaurants during 2022, whilst they ended the year with 2,340 restaurants across all their brands and regions.

 

AmRest saw EBITDA growth, Year-on-Year, also, with a 7% rise (€384.4mn for 2022).

 

The AmRest Holdings SE share price (on the Spanish Stock Exchange) closed on 27th February at €4.20 per share and closed on 28th February (results day) at €4.36 per share – a 3.81% increase.

 

This news follows Sphera Franchise Group and Yum! Brands realising their Year End results.
