Acca Group reports strong growth with EBITDA up 23.4% and turnover at £18.3m

Multi-brand franchise operator Acca Group has reported a 10.9% rise in turnover to a record £18,322,320 for the year ending 31 March 2025, up from £16,527,295 the previous year.

Of the total revenue for 2025, £9,741,832 was generated from retail coffee outlets (2024: £9,762,655), £6,952,425 from takeaway operations (2024: £5,706,089), £961,784 from serviced office income (2024: £714,275), and £666,279 from rental income (2024: £344,276).

The company, which operates Costa Coffee, Pizza Hut and German Doner Kebab locations, also saw EBITDA increase by 23.4% to £3,519,244, compared with £2,853,270 the year before. Pre-tax profit rose to £1,596,972 from £1,501,898, while gross margin improved to 47.38% from 46.38%.

In commentary accompanying the results, the directors said “The turnover increase was partly due to the German Doner Kebab store having a full year of trading, totalling £1.47m in sales. During the year, the group opened another coffee drive-thru, in Norwich, and expanded the group’s property portfolio. The group has also invested in a new beauty franchise opportunity. The directors believe the outlook for the group is strong.”

The balance sheet shows fixed assets of £18.55m, including £8.91m in tangible assets, £0.98m in investments, £8.99m in investment properties and negative intangible assets of £0.34m. Current assets stood at £6.98m, including £2.02m in cash, against current liabilities of £4.58m, resulting in net current assets of £2.41m. Long-term liabilities and provisions were £8.51m, leaving total net assets at £9.30m. The group paid dividends of £250,000 during the year, compared with £260,000 in 2024.
