23.5 Degrees open 100th Starbucks store

Starbucks’ largest franchisee in the UK have opened a new store at Tame Retail Park, in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This new opening has led the franchisee to hit the 100-unit milestone. The new store is located next to a Lidl, B&M and a KFC.

23.5 Degrees are Starbucks UK’s first franchised business partner, which opened in February 2013. Of the 100 sites nearly 60 of them are drive-thru units. 23.5 Degrees have the rights to develop in 25 different counties (regions) across the UK.

In March 2021, 23.5 Degrees opened their 80th store – this was 8 years after their first (80 stores in 8 years). With the 100th store opening after 10 years, the operator is continuing to track at 10 openings per year.

Starbucks USA are considering delivery-only stores.

The new CEO of Starbucks started in March 2023.
