Marco’s Pizza, the American restaurant chain, have signed a 50-site franchise agreement. Marco’s Franchising, the owner of the brand, have partnered with Grupo Pizza Amantes SA de CV, who will debut the brand in Mexico City.
The first site in the Mexican capital is set to open in Q2 2024.
The brand has over 1000 stores internationally, with a presence in The US, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and India.
In US franchise news, starting in 2024, owners of US & Canadian based McDonald’s franchises, who open new restaurants or buy locations previously operated by McDonald’s began having to pay a 5% royalty fee – a rise from the current 4%.
