Manolo Bakes debut in Portugal, the brand’s first international store

Spanish Coffee and bakery chain, Manolo Bakes, have opened their first international store.

 

The Madrid-based brand have debuted in Portugal, with a store in Lisbon.

 

The majority of the 45 stores are in Madrid, but there is also a presence in 7 other cities, including Barcelona, Seville and Valencia.

 

The brand opened their first store in 2017, and at the start of 2024, a consultancy firm was helping the company on the sale of a minority stake to a private equity company.

 

Previous news of another Spanish brand that entered Portugal: The Spanish restaurant group, Grupo Restalia, in Q4 2022, debuted their Panther Organic Coffee brand in Portugal, with a second store opening in Jan 2023.
