Flynn Group acquire 25 Applebee’s

Flynn Group have acquired 25 Applebee’s restaurants in Florida and Georgia.

 

The largest restaurant franchisee in the world have acquired the existing stores from Doherty Enterprises. In doing so they have also signed a new development agreement for the brand, committing to open 26 additional stores over the next 7 years.

 

In August 2023, Flynn Restaurant Group became the master franchisee for Wendy’s, in Australia. The Wendy’s Company signed the agreement with the restaurant operator, with plans to develop 200 sites over the next 10 years.

 

Flynn Restaurant Group are the largest franchise operator in the work, with partnerships with Applebee’s, Taco Bell, Panera, Arby’s and Wendy’s. The company then underwent a name change after acquiring the franchise of Planet Fitness, expanding out of restaurants.
