Costa Coffee was originally founded in London, England, by Italian Sergio and Bruno Costa in 1971. It was the first coffee shop chain to introduce Flat White to the UK and it now operates more than 3000 coffees shops worldwide. In 2019, Costa Coffee launched their Ready-to-Drink (RTD) range, with three of the most popular flavours, Classic Lafe, Caramel Lafe and Black Americano. Mocha Italia remains the signature blend to this day.
