Burger King to offer vegan nuggets

Burger King is planning to sell vegan nuggets with the aim to offering a 50% meat-free menu by 2030.
The new nuggets are certified by the Vegan Society and made entirely of soy and plant proteins. The brand is assuring they will taste as the original ones. The initiative is part of Burger King plan to reduce meat products in its menu which would allow a reduction of greenhouse gas emission by 41% by 2030.  Other brand are following a similar objective with McDonald’s already offering a vegan McPlant burger and Greggs vegan sausage rolls.
