Wendy’s, the US burger chain, are considering an expansion into the Republic of Ireland; the brand are commencing a search for potential franchisees in an attempt to find well-suited operators. After the brand returned to the UK, last year, and recently announced they were looking to open stores in the north of England, Wendy’s are now planning on moving into other areas of Europe.
Wendy’s announced they were looking for “well-established franchisee candidates” – this will facilitate a fast and effective growth, nationwide.
For comparison and potential scale purposes, Burger King currently have 48 stores across Ireland.
