Wendy’s agree master franchise agreement in India

American burger brand, Wendy’s, have reached an agreement with Rebel Foods to develop the brand as master franchisee, across India. The new master operator are the existing, exclusive, cloud/ghost kitchen franchisee across India, for Wendy’s. This original agreement was signed in 2020 and contained a development plan consisting of 250 cloud kitchens over 10 years.

 

The new, expanded master franchise agreement, builds upon the pre-existing commitment, with a further 150 traditional restaurants. This means Rebel Foods have a 400 store plan over the next decade.

 

At present, the restaurant brand is in 19 different Indian cities, nearing a total of 100 stores. Three of these restaurants are managed by Rebel Foods.
