Uber Eats offering new dine-in function on its UK platform

Uber Eats has just launched a new function to order and pay via its app for customers dining-in at restaurants. The function will be available from Monday April 12 in correlation with the reopening of outdoor dine-in restaurants in the UK.

Dine-in customers will be able to access the feature at any restaurant already registered on Uber Eats; orders as well as payments can be processed through the normal Uber Eats app under the new Dine-In option.

This new function aims at helping the local businesses to process orders more effectively and safely through minimising unnecessary contact at restaurants (like shared menu or  payment machines).
