Costa Coffee to expand in Germany

Costa Coffee is to expand its presence in the German market by the end of 2020. The brand is already operating in Berlin, Karlsruhe and Hamburg.

 

Costa Coffee is planning to start in Berlin and Cologne with the installation of new innovative Smart Café vending machines capable of preparing more than 200 drinks per day. Since 2015, Costa Coffee has also been testing partnership with Shell gas stations in the German market.

Costa Coffee was founded in 1971 in London and operates more than 3,000 coffee bars in +30 international markets. Costa Coffee – which is part of the Coca Cola Group since 2019 –  has 5 core businesses: Costa Coffee Stores (in store concept); Costa Partners (coffee available at authorised partners); Costa Smart Café (vending solution); Ready-To-Drink (available in retails) and At Home (for preparation at home).
